Well, it’s off to the ocean this weekend for us! Aren’t you the least bit jealous? Yes, we are headed to the east coast for another awesome diving adventure. We will be conducting an Open Water course, a Deep Diver course, an Underwater Digital Photography course, and a Nitrox course. You have to be jealous now!
Also, this weekend will mark the completion of Chuck the interns Dive Master course, and we couldn’t be prouder.
As usual, we will be heading to Aqua Gallery resort because of the amazing level of service that they provide, and don’t worry…this weekend we will make sure to take plenty of photos.
If you are interested in joining this weekend, please contact Russ as soon as possible at the dive shop.
This weekend was a great one at our dive shop in Paju. Saturday and Sunday was spent doing Divemaster training, with the extra fun underwater equipment exchange test on Sunday. Sorry we don’t have any pictures, but all focus was on this difficult skill.
We were also so very happy to have Chuck back from his 10 day trip to the Phillipines. We are also so very happy to announce that he is now a Master Diver and should be wrapping up his DiveMaster certification this weekend.
Speaking of this weekend, we are off to the ocean to cool off and do some certifications. Let us know if you are interested incoming for fun dives or training dives.
Lastly, Deep Blue Quest will be going to the beautiful Island of Jeju. We will depart from Gimpo airport on the 14th of September at 7:00am and will return on the 16th of September at 9:00am.
This tour is open to all certified divers. We will be doing three dives on Saturday and two dives on Sunday with the option of a third dive.

This has been a great week here at Deep Blue Quest, with the completion of an Equipment Specialty course for some of our very favorite members.
Over the weekend, we will be spending most of our time doing Divemaster training and preparing for next weeks ocean trip.
For those of you who don’t know, the Divemaster program is the first level of being a PADI professional. The skills that you develop during the course are invaluable to preparing you for a future career in diving, and it is an essential step if you plan on becoming an instructor one day.
If you are interested in the Divemaster program, we encourage you to contact Russ and discuss it. Remember, as a PADI professional you can work anywhere in the world where there is water, how cool is that?
Well, that is all for this preview. Have a great weekend, and as always
Hey there Deep Blue Questers, let us tell you about this last weekend we spent at the ocean.
Based out of Aqua Gallery, we spent 4 days diving and teaching and just having a great time in general. The water temp was great, the visibility was usually around 10m, and despite a slight current it was just perfect. It also didn’t hurt that our fun divers and students were top shelf individuals.
Check out some of the photos we took:
The pictures look good, don’t they?
Now for some announcements:
1) We will be holding an Assistant Instructor course the first week of September. If you are a Divemaster who is interested in making the transition to Instructor, this is the class for you
2) We will be holding a rescue diver course in the coming weeks due to an increase in demand. Let Russ know if you are interested.
3) We will be at the ocean at the end of the month. If you want to come out for a class or just some fun diving, shoot us a message.
Hope to hear from you all and as always….Safe Diving!
We here at Deep Blue Quest thought it was just way to hot in Seoul and Paju, so we decided to head to the ocean a little early for some fun diving. Aqua Gallery has been kind enough to host us, as well as continue to teach Russ how to drive a boat. The temperature has been great and the visibility has been amazing!
Starting tonight and tomorrow we will begin conducting certifications. Specifically, we will be holding Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Scuba Tune-ups, and even more fun dives.
We will be diving at Aqua Gallery until the 18th of August.
If you would like to join us or need to get in touch with us, please call 010-2289-9024.
Wow this weekend was a hot one, but us here at Deep Blue Quest had a nice cool time doing two scuba reviews/tune-ups and two open water courses. Between our air conditioned dive shop and the cool pool, we did a great job battling the summer heat.
But! The heat is not over, and with a holiday coming up, what better way to cool off than to join us at the ocean this weekend for some great diving. More info will be posted later this week, but as always, if you would like more information please don’t hesitate to call or email Russ at the dive shop!
Lastly, Deep Blue Quest is so very proud to announce that our long loved intern Charlene Butters has successfully completed her DiveMaster course. We can’t begin to say how happy we are and how excited that she has decided to continue along the professional path by enrolling in the Assistant Instructor program. Go Butters!
This week has been a hot one, with more 33+ weather on the way! Luckily, Deep Blue Quest will be in our nicely air conditioned dive shop this weekend conducting an Open Water course. And where will we be when we are not at the shop you may ask? That right! Lounging by the pool or 5m deep in the pool! Being a PADI diver truly is a wonderful thing!
We still have space available, so if you feel the need to cool of this weekend, and start a great new summer sport, hit us up at the dive shop!
If you have any questions, or would like to sign up for a course, please contact Russ at:
We wanted to share with you what an AMAZING time we had during our annual Ocean Summer Camp. We conducted open water, advanced open water, deep dive, peak performance buoyancy, navigation, rescue and underwater diver propulsion vehicle courses…as well as some amazing fun dives.
A special thank you to Aqua Gallery for hosting us and making the week as great as ever. And also a very special thanks to everybody who came out and participated! Deep Blue Quest strives to make everybody feel like part of the family, and it was truly great to share this week with you.
