We are a little bit late getting this blog up, but we wanted to share what an amazing time we had during our Chuseok camp. The weather was perfect all 5 days, the water temp on the shallow dives was so warm that no hoods were required, and overall it was one of the best tours of the whole year.
As per usual, we used Aqua Gallery as our dive resort because of how well they take care of us, and generally how great they are. Take a look at our photos and let us know what you think!
Our next camp will be October 2 through to October 6th. So if you want to join us, please let Russ know. We will be conducting certifications and doing lots of fun dives.
Yesterday we returned from an amazing trip down to Jeju Island. We were there diving Saturday and Sunday. Take a look at our photos below, and you can see how great the tour was.
But, no rest for the wicked or PADI professionals, we are headed to the ocean tonight to spend five days doing fun dives and certifications. Our Chuseok camp is very relaxed, and we still have spots open if you want to come for a few days.
A couple of announcements:
1) A Special Congratulations to Yoon oh Yang on completing his MASTER DIVER COURSE and for completing his Deep diver, underwater digital photographer and also peak performance buoyancy specialties. He was a great sport!
2) We will also be running and Instructor Development Course (IDC) in October.
3) Another special congratulations to our new three Master Scuba divers ( Chuck, Jorge, and Yoon Oh for completing the MASTER SCUBA DIVER CHALLENGE )
We hope yo see you out at the ocean, as as always.

September is gearing up to be a truly exciting month here at Deep Blue Quest, and we really wanted to share it with you.
This weekend(7th – 8th) we will be conducting an Open Water course at our dive shop in Paju. There is still a few spots available if you or anyone you know is keen.
The following weekend(14th – 16th) we will be headed off to conduct a tour down on Jeju island. This is available to all certified divers.
After coming back from Jeju on the 16th, we gear up for our Chuseok Dive Camp out on the east coast. We will be there for 5 days (18th – 22nd) conducting courses, fun dives, and refreshers. There is still space available so let us know if you are interested in coming out for all or part of the camp.
Through out all of this, we will also be starting a new Divemaster internship program, and a PADI Assistant Instructor Course.

Any diver worth his salt will tell you that the ocean can be an unpredictable beast that must be respected. This weekends trip to the ocean was an example of that beast rearing its angry head. And as experienced divers, with a huge respect for the ocean, we knew that going out was not even close to an option.
But that didn’t stop us from having a great weekend! We did some training in the harbor, finished up Chuck’s DiveMaster qualifications, and generally enjoyed watching the ocean in all of its glory.
Take a look at some of the photos, and you can see just how powerful the ocean was:
And before we say goodbye, a special thanks to Aqua Gallery for all of their assistance this weekend. We truly could not have done it without you.
